Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently looking for sanitation associates to join our 3rd shift in Clarksville, AR. This facility is a sweet potato processing operation with a night shift sanitation team. These associates strive to produce quality branded products in a fast-paces, safe and clean environment. 

Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and the facility structure (e.g. floors, pipes, overhead pipes, etc.) This position will be required to accurately complete daily cleaning responsibilities and report findings to the Supervisor.

  • Comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines
  • Company with SDS requirements (proper use of cleaning agents)
  • Comply with Pictsweet's personal protective equipment policies
  • Ensure cleaning schedule is properly followed
  • Complies with lock-out/tag-out policy and ensures equipment meets lock-out/tag-out standards before sanitation work begins
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment per SSOPs Removing waste from the production floor
  • All other duties assigned by Manager

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and understand SDS, cleaning instructions and GMP standards
  • Functional mechanical understanding of food plant processes and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team without being disruptive, to accommodate production scheduling needs - must work 3rd shift and mandatory overtime
  • Ability to stand, walk, stood, bend, kneel, lift, climb, crawl and at times may require average agility and dexterity
  • Excellent attendance is required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Must be able to use basic hand tools
  • Valid forklift license or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
