Production Associate

Family owned and operated for over 75 years, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are recruiting Production Associates at Picsweet's Clarksville, AR facility. The Production Associate will be responsible for production of quality food products manufactured under clean and safe conditions. This is a safety sensitive position.

• Will perform tasks such as sorting, casing, setting up bins, product inspection, removing defective product, and scooping product, clean up, stretch wrap, busting out product, and various other duties.
• Must follow instructions including company policies, procedures, and safety instructions.  
• Must comply with Food Safety Standards (GMP).
• Must keep work area clean and orderly.
• Must work at a fast pace with few errors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• 3+ months experience in a food production role, preferred.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of alertness and concentration while performing safety-sensitive tasks.
• Functional understanding of food plant processes and equipment.
• Work in outdoor weather conditions, non-climate-controlled areas, and/or a refrigerated packaging environment.
• Endure prolonged periods of standing, bending, pulling, walking on hard surfaces, reaching, and lifting.
• Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence, motivate, and lead within a team environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team without being disruptive.
• Bilingual skills helpful but not required.
• Functional knowledge to apply corrective actions, quality and food safety procedures correctly in times of failure.
• Must be willing to work extended hours as needed (including weekends and holidays).
